Our Publications: Reimagining systems to elevate women in global health leadership

For International Women’s Day 2025, WGH-Australia have worked to release a viewpoint in MJA Insights+ on ‘Reimagining systems to elevate women in global health leadership.’

Achieving gender equity in global health will require reimagining of how health systems operate, including who leads and the traits they possess, who is valued within the health system and how they are remunerated, and what inclusivity means in terms of knowledge production and its impacts.

In conjunction with this, WGH Chair A/Prof Meru Sheel and committee member Rachel Mather joined MJA in a podcast to talk about continuing gender inequality in health.
